I picked this up at the annual crossing guard convention in Topeka.

Now that's a group that truly embraces bright colors — yellow, orange, chartreuse.

(Dramatic pause as he contemplates this.)

So when I said STOP dull, dingy colors by adding Clorox 2 and detergent to your laundry with every wash they were all over it.

(Holds up a capful of Clorox 2.)

And then when I told them you could do a pre–soak in Clorox 2 for extra brightening power. Well, they went a little crazy.

(Pulls out a crossing guard stop sign and holds it up dramatically.)

I learned some other neat moves too. The "your turn" and my favorite, the "hurry up and get across we don't have all day here buddy!"
